I was putting Miles car seat into the car a couple minutes ago and for no particular reason, I felt the need to list my Top 10 Christmas Movies.

10. Elf (2003)

9.  Scrooged (1988)

8.  A Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)

7.  The Polar Express (2004)

This movie has moved up my list from year to year.  Underrated, despite the creepy GCI factor.

6.  Home Alone (1990)

Should possibly be higher on the list, as I still burst into uncontrollable laughter when Daniel Stern goes completely Elin Nordegren on Joe Pesci.

5.  It's A Wonderful Life (1946)

4.  Die Hard (1988)

Yes, it is a Christmas movie and it receives many votes based on that fact that it's the only Christmas movie with A) Firearms B) Explosives C) Hostages

3.  National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)

I was going to say that Die Hard was the only Christmas movie with hostages, but then I forgot about Christmas Vacation.

2.  A Christmas Story (1982)

Despite what my wife says, this film IS timeless, and needs no further explanation.

1.  Miracle on 34th Street (1947)

Remember the end of Ratatouille when Anton Ego takes a bite of the meal and he's instantly transported to his youth...that's what this does to me.  E.T. has a similar effect.

Off to a Christmas party!

Merry Christmas!
