It's not really a resolution but more of a goal.  I'm going to post a photo to a new gallery on this site each day.  It might not be the best photo I took that day, but it will hopefully encapsulate the feeling of that day.

There are a number of reasons why I'm doing this.  Here are a few:

A) If you're forced to shoot something everyday (even on days when you don't feel like it), you're probably forced to look for opportunities where you don't usually expect them.  And I'm presupposing that this is going to open up some new avenues for creativity and broaden my style and skill-set as a photographer.

B) I need the practice.

C) Collections are cool.  One Roger Clemens baseball card might be cool, but a collection of 300 Roger Clemens cards is much more impressive (if not slightly misguided).  Seems that most of my sports heroes have had a lofty fall from grace in recent years, but that's a post for another day.  I'm not saying my collection of 365 daily photos will be as impressive...but it should be free of PED.

So that's it.  I'll post one in just a moment to kick off 2010.  And hopefully, in a year I'll have a new way to reflect on the past 365 days.

Here's to new endeavors, adventure, good health, family and good friends!  Happy New Year!
