Again, I'm going through past photos looking for stuff that catches my eye (The M's had a day game, and I can only watch so much reality TV).  Some of these shots are good, some of them are...not great.  Regardless, I feel like it's a good exercise and I'm learning something from it.

I shot this on Valentine's Day back in 2009 just outside The Wayfarer (an excellent restaurant where my lady and I just dined).

Each year my dad and I challenge our golf games, our patience and sanity by playing 18 holes at a great new golf course. In 2009, the women in our lives gave us greens fees to Chambers Bay Golf Links near Tacoma. This course (site of the US Open in 2015) is on my personal Mt. Rushmore of courses I've played (along with Bandon Dunes, Brookwater Golf Club and Coeur d'Alene). This is a shot from the 10th tee box that overlooks most of the course.

Miles loves the coast and this trip is 2009 to Arch Cape was no exception.Looking east along the Columbia River just a few minutes from my doorstep.Tatonka! This was taken up at the Schreiner Farms in The Dallesport. When we used to make pretty frequent family visits to Rachel's grandpa we would stop here so the kids could see the zebras, camels, giraffes and bison. Fond summer memories.
