When the morning news over-reacted about snow and freezing rain for the Columbia River Gorge on Saturday morning, there were concerns that road conditions would be too treacherous to travel.  Fortunately, that didn't keep friends and family away from Kylan and Giselle's beautiful wedding at the historic Crystal Ballroom.

There are certain weddings where the one can really get a sense of everything about the bride and groom through the structure and details of the wedding itself.  Those weddings always feel like they were a natural extension of the couple and this night was no different.  From their own vows where Giselle promised to love, cherish and try not to fall asleep to movies Kylan asks her to watch...to the best-written program I've ever seen...to the band that had every bit-of-business to be on a stage where James Brown, Al Green and the Grateful Dead have performed...you knew that these two people were soul mates and will be able to tackle whatever the future throws their way.

Kyle (I'll never be able to call you Kylan with a straight-face) and Giselle, thanks for inviting me to record such a magical afternoon and evening with you and your families.  Let's get together again soon!
