Engagement | Hood River
"My uncle has a helicopter, maybe you could shoot of the wedding from it?" Um yeah. I thought shooting from a moving canoe last summer was the cat's meow (and it really was)...but a helicopter? I'm. All. In.
Ben and Kara are the epitome of a happy couple. Seriously, grab your closest dictionary and look up the term "meant to be." Go ahead, I'll wait. Ok...wait? Terms aren't in the dictionary. Well if they were you'd see these two. Piggyback rides on the spit, laughs and smooches on the streets of Hood River, and more inappropriate comments that only bring on more laughs...it's the perfect recipe for a photo session like this.
2015 is the start of some great things for these too.
"For once, I can touch what my heart used to dream of
Long before I know
Oh, someone warm like you
Would make my dream come true..."
- Stevie Wonder
Engagement | Trout Lake
"Try not to look stupid." It's always great when the best direction during a photo session comes from the bride herself.
Dayne and Ariel are totally made for each other. The way they play off each other is taylor made for a lifetime of fun and adventure. We spent a warm evening in Trout Lake hanging out by the creek (it might be a brook...or a stream...maybe a small river...Thesaurus.com didn't help much in this scenario) chatting, laughing and snapping a few photos along the way. I love when clients hand-pick their favorite spots; places that mean something to them.
"...Don't let us get stupid, all right?
Just make us be brave
And make us play nice
And let us be together tonight..."
- Warren Zevon
